Larry Elmore's Career 

Larry got started by freelancing his illustrations at home and his early artwork was published in magazines like Heavy Metal and National Lampoon. Larry Elmore is best known for his illustrations on the popular Dragonlance book series. 

He worked at TSR Inc., where he helped set the standards for gaming art in the role-playing genre and created covers for Dungeons & Dragons, AD&D, and Star Frontiers. Larry Elmore also created Snarf Quest Tales for Dragon Magazine.
